Y'all... we've still got to do better by our pets. Sarah was a well-loved inside cat for 16 years. Sadly, her owner passed away in 2020 and a family member just.... let her out. Out the door. Sarah became a community cat and was being fed by a good samaritan until last summer when she showed up with kittens. Four kittens, about a month old. If we didn't know it as fact we wouldn't believe it ourselves. We put Sarah and her kittens in a foster until her babies were weaned and now Sarah needs a place to live out her senior days. She is an absolute dream. She adores human attention, is healthy, adjusts easily to change and "tolerates" other cats. We think Sarah would be happiest as an only cat in a quiet home where she can sunbathe, get pets and enjoy however many golden years she has left. Please share Sarah's story so we can find her a home. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt. There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register. For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org. We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat. Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.
