Misty is a young female short hair tabby with pretty brown markings along her back.  She was likely abandoned, either pregnant or with young kittens, on a country road and adopted her foster family at their barn.  The kittens were apparently raised in the woods until they were pretty much weaned, which is when they all showed up at the barn.   As she is still a protective mama of her last two kittens, we are not sure how she would do with other animals if they are with her.  She had four kittens total but we found homes for two of them.  It has been a journey getting her to trust people again after being abused and alone in the wild, but she has become a sweet kitty who loves to rub on you and have her chin scratched.  She is still in "momma mode" a bit but has moments where she will play with you like a kitten and is learning to enjoy being a lap cat.  She does love her catnip though!  She will blossom as an affectionate cat once she finds her forever home!

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.
