Joy and her brother were rescued after being found in a pile of debris two days after Hurricane Sally. They were approximately 1 week old, and unfortunately, her brother did not survive. Joy was bottle fed in a foster home. She is small for her age but healthy. She has scarring on one eye due to it being scratched while playing. She was raised with other rescue and foster owned cats, as well as dogs (small, medium, large and x-large). Joy loves to be held. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org. There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register. For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org or 850-780-3223. We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat. Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.
