COOKIE IS LOOKING FOR A NEW FUREVER HOME!
Cookie is a beautiful white German Shepherd. If you are looking for a running or hiking buddy, Cookie is your girl! She loves her walks, but would actually prefer they were runs. She's very good on the leash. She knows basic commands and obeys, even when she doesn't want to. Cookie needs a big, fenced-in yard so she can burn off excess energy. She's spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and is currently on monthly flea prevention. She was very thin when rescued, but thankfully the cause was a lack of food and not medical. She's looking better since we've gotten some weight on this sweet girl. She is good around other dogs, but she cannot be around cats or small animals. She has a strong prey drive. She is people friendly and has lived with younger children before. Cookie passed her temperament test with flying colors, knows basic commands and would make a great family member. 

Unfortunately, Cookie's previous adopters didn't give her heartworm treatment and she is now positive. Animal Allies will pay for her treatment. She was previously adopted by a couple who are now divorcing. The wife has cats back home and the husband is active duty military and doesn't have time for Cookie.  

Cookie's adoption fee is $125. Prior to meeting or adopting one of our wonderful dogs, we ask that you please fill out our online Dog Adoption Application on our website AAFlorida.org.  There is also a link on the top of the home page. We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet Cookie. Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any dog.
