It was clear that Maggie was owned by someone at one time because she had already been spayed when her rescuers found her.  Life was rough on the streets for Maggie, and she was very distrustful of people and scared of other cats.  Her foster family was determined to help her through her trauma and teach her to love again.  After nine months of caring for her, she finally let them pick her up and love on her.  She now loves nothing better than to sit on her foster parents laps, or lie on the window sill soaking up the sun.  Whatever trauma she has gone through has left her very shy of other kitty's, and she would do best as an only cat.  She has a playful side and loves to take turns playing chase with her foster mom.  First she gets chased, and then the tables are turned and she will chase you back.  Maggie would love nothing better than to find a permanent, loving home with someone who will be kind and patient with her.  Please contact Maggie's foster parents directly at alifmckean@yahoo.com to answer any questions you may have.

Adoption fee is $65.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV test (negative), microchip, and spay surgery that is already done.  Maggie is litterbox trained.
